These booking conditions apply to all travelers and travel agents who make bookings or confirm reservations through the Eastern Europe Tour (EET) online platform. Please read these terms carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Definitions

Traveler”refers to the individual or group making a booking for travel services on the EET platform.

Travel Agent” refers to a third-party agency or intermediary making bookings on behalf of clients through the EET platform.

Supplier”refers to the third-party providers of travel services such as accommodation, transportation, or activities.

Booking”refers to any travel package, activity, or service booked through the EET platform.

2. General Terms for All Bookings

Acceptance of Booking Conditions:

By making a booking with EET, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following conditions. These terms apply to all travelers and travel agents.

  Age Requirements:

  Travelers must be at least 18 years old to make a booking independently.

  For travelers under 18, bookings must be made by a parent or legal guardian. Some tours have specific age limits, which will be communicated during booking.

Accuracy of Information:

All information provided at the time of booking, including but not limited to passport details, travel preferences, and contact information, must be accurate. EET is not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information.

3. Booking Process

Booking Confirmation:

  - A booking is confirmed once the traveler or travel agent receives a booking confirmation email from EET. EET will also issue an invoice detailing all booked services.

  - Travelers and agents are responsible for reviewing the booking details and notifying EET immediately of any errors.

Deposit & Payment:

A deposit is required to confirm your booking (as specified in the Payment Policy). Final payment is due no later than 45 days before departure unless otherwise stated. Late payment may result in the cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit.

4. Booking Conditions for Travelers

Passport and Visa Requirements:

It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure their passport is valid for at least six months beyond the return date and that they have obtained all necessary visas and permits for travel. EET is not liable for any losses due to improper documentation.

Travel Insurance:

  Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers. This should cover trip cancellations, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, personal liability, and loss of baggage. Travelers are responsible for ensuring that their insurance policy covers all aspects of the trip.

Special Requests:

Any special requests (e.g., dietary requirements, room preferences, medical conditions) must be communicated at the time of booking. EET will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these requests but cannot guarantee them.

Changes to Bookings:

Travelers can request changes to their booking up to 30 days before departure. All changes are subject to availability and may incur amendment fees as outlined in the Cancellation Policy.

Cancellations by Traveler:

Cancellations by the traveler are subject to the terms outlined in the Cancellation Policy, including applicable non-refundable deposits and cancellation fees. Cancellations must be made in writing (email or via the EET platform).

5. Booking Conditions for Travel Agents

Agent Responsibilities:

Travel agents are responsible for:

Providing accurate information on behalf of their clients.

Managing all communications between EET and the traveler unless otherwise specified.

Ensuring that clients are aware of and comply with all terms and conditions set out by EET.

Client Payments:

Agents are responsible for collecting payments from their clients and remitting the full amount due to EET within the specified time frame. Agents who fail to make payments by the due date risk cancellation of the booking.

Booking Modifications:

Any changes to a booking made by a travel agent on behalf of a client must be communicated to EET immediately. Changes are subject to availability and any applicable amendment fees.

Cancellations:

Agents must handle cancellations on behalf of their clients and ensure they follow the cancellation terms as outlined in the **Cancellation Policy**. Refunds will be processed according to the same rules that apply to individual travelers.

6. Prices, Fees, and Taxes

Price Inclusions:

EET package prices include only the services expressly stated at the time of booking (e.g., accommodation, activities, transportation). Any additional services not mentioned are the traveler’s or agent’s responsibility to arrange and pay for.

Price Exclusions:

Prices do not include personal expenses, optional activities, meals not mentioned in the itinerary, visa fees, or travel insurance. Any mandatory local taxes, environmental fees, or resort charges are also excluded unless specifically stated.

Price Adjustments:

EET reserves the right to adjust package prices in response to fluctuations in currency exchange rates, fuel surcharges, taxes, or other operational costs. Travelers and agents will be notified of any price changes before final payment.

7. Changes or Cancellations by EET

Operational Changes:

EET reserves the right to make changes to itineraries, activities, and accommodations if required due to operational reasons, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or availability. These changes will be communicated as early as possible.

Cancellations by EET:

In the unlikely event that EET needs to cancel a booking, travelers and agents will be offered an alternative package or a full refund (excluding any non-refundable third-party services such as flights). EET will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred, such as travel insurance or visa fees.

8. Travel Documents

Issuance of Travel Documents:

Final travel documents (including e-tickets, vouchers, and itineraries) will be issued only after full payment has been received. Documents are typically provided 14-30 days prior to departure.

Document Accuracy:

It is the responsibility of travelers and agents to review all travel documents for accuracy. Any discrepancies should be reported to EET immediately.

9. Liability and Responsibility

Supplier Responsibility:

While EET partners with trusted suppliers to provide high-quality services, we act only as an intermediary and are not liable for any actions, omissions, or defaults of suppliers. Any complaints regarding suppliers should be directed to them with EET’s assistance.

EET Liability:

EET is not responsible for any loss, damage, or delay caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, or force majeure events. Our liability is limited to the price paid for the booked package.

Health and Safety:

Travelers are responsible for assessing their ability to participate in certain activities. Some tours may require a level of physical fitness. It is the traveler’s or agent’s responsibility to disclose any medical conditions at the time of booking.

10. Disputes and Complaints

Dispute Resolution:

In the event of any disputes, EET encourages travelers and agents to contact our customer service team for resolution. If a mutual agreement cannot be reached, disputes will be settled in accordance with the laws and regulations of **[Insert Jurisdiction]**.

Complaints During Travel:

Any complaints during travel should be reported immediately to the tour leader, local representative, or EET customer service. EET will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues on the spot. Complaints made after the conclusion of the trip must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the trip’s end.

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to make the process as seamless as possible. Our cancellation policy is designed to offer you flexibility while also safeguarding the viability of the tour. Please read our policy carefully.

1. General Cancellations:

  • Cancellation by Traveler:
  • 45 days or more before departure: Full refund, excluding any non-refundable deposits or administrative fees.
  • 44 to 31 days before departure: 25% of the total booking amount is non-refundable.
  • 30 to 15 days before departure: 50% of the total booking amount is non-refundable.
  • 14 days or less before departure: 100% of the total booking amount is non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued.

Non-refundable Deposits:

Certain holiday packages, activities, and sightseeing tours may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. These will be specified at the time of booking.

2. Modifications or Cancellations by EET:

In case of low bookings, unforeseeable events, or force majeure: EET reserves the right to cancel or modify any trip, package, or activity. In such cases, travelers will be notified at the earliest possible time and given the option of rescheduling, selecting an alternative package, or receiving a full refund (excluding non-refundable services like flights or third-party services).

3. Force Majeure:

EET is not liable for cancellations or alterations due to force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, civil unrest, or other unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. Refunds in these cases will be at the discretion of EET, and processing times may vary.

4. Third-Party Services:

If your booking includes third-party services such as flights, transfers, or accommodations not directly managed by EET, their respective cancellation policies will apply. EET will assist in coordinating with the service providers but cannot guarantee refunds.

5. Travel Insurance:

We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen cancellations, medical emergencies, or trip interruptions. We might ask you to provide your travel insurance before arrival. 

6. Refund Processing:

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of cancellation. Please note that any processing fees, currency conversion fees, or transaction charges will be deducted from the refunded amount.

EET Payment Policy:

At EET, we strive to offer clear and flexible payment options to make booking your holiday as smooth as possible. Please carefully review our payment terms and conditions.

We accept the following payment methods:

Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Bank Transfers: Available for selected packages. Please contact customer service for instructions.

Online Payment Gateways: Any other secure payment gateways that may be listed on the EET platform at the time of booking.

2. Payment Schedule:

Deposit at Time of Booking:

  - A deposit of 20-30% of the total package price is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

  - For certain holiday packages or activities, a non-refundable deposit may be required. This will be stated clearly in the package details.

Full Payment:

  - The remaining balance must be paid in full 45 days before the departure date.

  - Bookings made within 45 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

Late Payments:

  - If full payment is not received by the due date, EET reserves the right to cancel your booking. Any non-refundable deposits or fees will be forfeited.

3. Currency:

All prices are listed in Your selected Currency, and payments will be processed in this currency. Please be aware that your bank may charge foreign transaction fees, which are not covered by EET.

4. Booking Amendments and Changes:

Changes to Booking: Changes made to confirmed bookings (including dates, packages, or traveler information) may incur a fee, which will be communicated to you at the time of the request.

Amendment Charges: Changes requested within 30 days of departure may incur higher amendment fees, depending on the nature of the change and availability.

5. Discounts & Promotions:

Any promotional offers or discounts must be applied at the time of booking. Discounts cannot be combined unless otherwise stated, and promotions are subject to specific terms and conditions. Once a booking is confirmed, promotional discounts cannot be retroactively applied.

6. Price Adjustments:

EET reserves the right to adjust prices before final confirmation of your booking due to fluctuations in currency exchange rates, increased fuel charges, or changes in government taxes. Once full payment is received, your price is guaranteed and will not change.

7. Failed Payments:

In case of a failed or declined payment, you will be notified immediately and will need to provide an alternative method of payment within 48 hours to maintain your booking.

8. Refunds & Disputed Charges:

- Any refund requests will follow the cancellation policy mentioned above. Please ensure you are familiar with these terms before making any payments.

- In case of any disputed charges, please contact our customer service team. Chargebacks and disputes may result in cancellation of your booking, and EET reserves the right to re-issue the booking at a new rate.

9. Travel Documents:

Final travel documents, including vouchers and itineraries, will be issued 14-30 days prior to departure once full payment is received. Please ensure you have met all payment obligations to receive your travel documents in a timely manner.

Let your multilingual tour guide show you the highlights, stroll the winding alleys of the Old Town and find out why our city has consecutively been awarded for the world’s best quality of life. Evening at leisure or optional activities :

    Option 1) Public Pub Crawl Tour Zurich : Anyone interested in Zurich´s famous nightlife can take part in the Pub Crawl Tour. Local guides take guests from near and far to three or four different bars or clubs in downtown Zurich. The group has free admission to each location and receives a complementary drink on the house. In this way, participants not only get to know each other, but also come into contact with locals, expats, and other guests from all over the world. This casual pub crawl is an excellent way to discover Zurich´s nightlife.

  • Days 3- Day at leisure or suggested optional day trips: Day Trip to Lucerne from Zürich or Grindelwald and Interlaken from Zurich or Rhine Falls & Stein am Rhein.


    Day trip 1) Day Trip to Lucerne from Zürich : With Lucerne less than 1 hour from the center of Zurich, it’s easy to swap city life for a sojourn in the Swiss countryside and there are a number of options for day trips. Perched on the banks of the vast Lake Lucerne and encircled by mountains, Lucerne is one of Switzerland’s most undeniably picturesque cities and even the journey is breathtaking – soaring across the dramatic Albis Pass and winding through the mountains.You can check out highlights of the Old Town, like the Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge; walk the idyllic lakeside promenade or pay a visit to the celebrated Picasso Museum. A sightseeing cruise on Lake Lucerne is another great way to take in the city, or opt to immerse yourself in Swiss folklore, sampling the local cuisine and watching a traditional show of yodeling, singing, Alphorn-blowing and flag throwing. Alternatively, combine your trip with a visit to the alpine village Engelberg, one of the region’s most famous mountain resorts, where you can even tour a Swiss cheese factory.

    Day trip 2) Grindelwald and Interlaken from Zurich : Embark on a scenic coach journey through splendid countryside and over the Brünig pass to Interlaken, the heart of the magnificent Jungfrau region. After a first orientation stop in Interlaken, continue to the charming mountain resort of Grindelwald, the perfect place for any kind of active holidays. Enjoy approximately 6 hours to explore Grindelwald and Interlaken at your own pace with optional activities of your choice. Stroll past rustic chalets to one of the numerous lookout points that provide stunning views of the impressive surrounding mountainscape including the world-famous triple peaks Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.     Day trip 3) Rhine Falls & Stein am Rhein : Journey along the Grand Tour of Switzerland through gently rolling vineyards and charming farming villages to Northern Switzerland near the border with Germany. Reach the splendid Laufen Castle for the first highlight of this afternoon: the mighty Rhine Falls! Enjoy about one hour at leisure to explore Europe’s biggest waterfall, which is one of Switzerland’s major tourist attractions. Delight in unique views from the panoramic lift and see how an average of 700,000 litres of water per second plunge across a width of 150 meters into the basin below. Located in Wattens, just east of Innsbruck, this unique space showcases a dazzling array of colorful displays in a mystical setting. Created by the renowned Swarovski brand, the museum features year-round events including workshops, live performances, and special exhibitions. Explore this captivating treasure trove of artistry and enjoy the sparkling, immersive experience that highlights the beauty of crystal glass.

    Option 2) Innsbruck: City Tower : Ascend above the rooftops of Innsbruck as medieval tower guards once did. The City Tower, a vigilant sentinel for nearly 450 years, served as a lookout post, alerting citizens to fires and other perils. Formerly doubling as a prison, today it welcomes visitors to explore its historic confines. Ascend 133 steps to the 31-meter-high viewing platform, commanding vistas of Innsbruck's medieval streets, Bergisel, Patscherkofel mountain, the River Inn, and the Nordkette mountain range. Constructed in 1450, the City Tower predates the iconic Golden Roof by half a century.     Activity Option 1) Top of Innsbruck cable car : Enjoy a ride on the Nordkette cable car from the center of Innsbruck to the heights of the Alpine terrain. Admire the breathtaking mountain views with a ticket for the mountain cable car.

    Activity Option 2) Combi Entrance Ticket to Alpine Zoo and Hungerburg : Innsbruck's Alpine Zoo is unique worldwide in its function as an Alpine theme-zoo. Observe several species of animals that can only be found within the alp region. It is extremely family friendly but also offers a great variety of activities for grown ups. It is situated on the sunny side of the Inn valley, directly at the foot of the Nordkette and high above Innsbruck's rooftops. With the combi-ticket Alpine Zoo, the zoo is comfortably reachable from the city center. It is only a few minutes directly from the Congress Station to the Alpine Zoo station with the Hungerburg funicular. From there the entrance of the Alpine Zoo is only a few meters away

  • Days 7- Check out from hotel and proceed to Salzburg by coach or 2nd class train.

The Sound of Music Tour Salzburg includes original shooting locations from "The Sound of Music" movie: Mirabell Garden and Pegasus Fountain, where Maria and the children danced in the movie Nonnberg Convent, where Maria was a novice Schloss Leopoldskron, the house, where the Trapp Family lived in the movie which is now a luxury hotel Hellbrunn Palace (singing scenes in the movie) Gazebo (now placed in Hellbrunn), where the Baron von Trapp kissed Maria for the first time Church Mondsee, where Maria and the Baron get married.     Option 2) Fortress Concert category 2 without dinner : The Salzburg Mozart Orchestra, a traditional chamber orchestra, was founded to perform the enchanting masterpieces of the great artists of music - mainly the works of W.A.Mozart.

    Day Trip Option B: Salt Mine Tour- Embark on a 4-hour Salt Mines Tour departing from Salzburg, traveling via Alpenstraße and Königsseeache to Obersalzberg, where Third Reich leaders once resided.     Activity Option 1: Apple Strudel & Salzburger Nockerl Class- Discover the art of making an authentic Austrian apple strudel in this hands-on cooking class led by an experienced chef. Each session is designed for a maximum of 15 participants, organized into smaller groups of 2 to 4 people at individual tables. You will actively engage in every step of the strudel-making process, from marinating the apples to stretching out the pastry. The class promises a fun and rewarding experience as you create your delicious strudel and savor the final result. While your apple strudel bakes, you'll also have the opportunity to make your own Salzburger Nockerl, a traditional local sweet that you simply must try. Additionally, enjoy a serving of flavorful goulash soup before indulging in your own creations.

    Activity Option 2: Salzburg Cathedral: Organ Concert at Midday- Experience the pure baroque spectacle of an organ concert inside one of Salzburg, Austria's major attractions. Listen to this midday performance and hark back to the days of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Hear the toll of the noon-time bells, and get ready for the sounds of Salzburg Cathedral's seven organs.
